Just want to know if any other MDX 08 owners have pinstriped their cars.

What are best pinstripe colors on Silver.

I saw a silver MDX today and It had black Pin Stipping. I think the MDX looks better without it. If not, go for black, it gives good contrast.

For the love of all that is holy, please don't pinstripe your X. Before long you'll wind up with gold plated emblems, white walls and a vinyl roof.

However, if you must, then I second the vote for black.

when i bought my MDX, it already had pinstripes on it, but i told the dealer i would not be paying any more for this "accessory" and that they would have to remove them prior to delivery.

i think pinstripes went out of style back after the 80s

Pinstripes are out. :4:

how about racing stripes? I think everyone who drives their MDX like it's stolen at least once a year should put two dirty great big racing stripes over the whole hood/roof of the car :p

Ok I have Silver MDX and the very light pinstriping, is going to be one thin black and one thick black down the side with an Acura logo on front near door.

Will do Lionspeed. I have a real good pinstripe artist doing it.

www.classicpinstriping.com

see the galleries and it will be like the SS on silver.

Is it easy to post pics - cut and paste? Where are the directions?

Does it have to be hosted elsewhere?

Hmm, their work don't look half bad. They sure would make your X different from the rest. I may not do it on my X but hey, you do what you like. As far as attaching a picture, it's real easy (see pic below) & don't forget to scale down the pixel to reasonable size.

LS:
I have two questions if I may:
How do you scale down pictures sent to me from another persons camera. She had it on HUGE settings.....?
Second:
My Sony camera "Mavica" digital still camera MVC-CD 1000 has many settings. I can't seem to find a good setting. Can you look that puppy up on the internet and advise me for: garage settings, outdoor settings etc...?

Fab, in response to your 2 questions (take/use it at your own risk). LOL

First, I've been using Mac since early 80's. Not a fan of Windows, not then, not even more with Vista. Had Vista installed on my Dell, ended up removing it & install back XP SP2. Mac OS is superior to Windows, IMHO. Having said that, clearly I'm not anything close to PC gurus so giving you advise would be inappropriate. So any PC guru in here pls chime in & help Fab. Nevertheless, here is my simple solution.

1. Scaling. (assuming you're running any of these 95/98/NT/2000/XP/Vista)
-Start>All Programs>Accessories>PAINT
-File>Open (your picture)
-In PAINT program, under IMAGE, Stretch/Skew > from here you can enter Horizontal & Vertical i.e. 50% X 50%. Then save as... You got the drift?

2. Your Sony camera is a great camera. It might be super outdated but it's a great one. As far as best suit setting for different lighting environment? RTFM. :2: .... j/k. I did a quick search for you & they all say a whole lot of nothing. My other digital camera all work great with just FULLY automatic setting.
