Has anyone tried the H11 LED Buls
IPF Super Light Emitting Diode bulbs are the newest thing on the market. With only a 1.5 watt draw the LED technology allows for a bright light with none of the heat. IPF LED bulbs are manufactured to match perfectly with OEM HID headlights when used in fog lights |

Yeah, saw these types a while back. I was never a fan of LED nor Super LED for external source. Good old fashion Halogen or HID sounds a lot more "real". Beside they don't make 4100-4300K to match our low beam. See below specs.
Product Description
Bulb Type: H11
Sold As: Twin Pack [Pair]
Wattage [draw]: 1.5
Wattage [output]: 100
Color: Superwhite
Color Temp: 4800K
Warranty: 90 Days

| I highly doubt those "super led" would produce anything close to HID fog. ;) |

Sharp eyes. Yes it is Super SMT LED (parking light). Yes, interior 100% LEDs. How much for HID fog? ... Around $160 for the each kit.
I hope I've answered some of you guys' questions. |

Don't totally give up on LED's yet... the technology is out there and it's improving very fast. I saw a demo of LED headlamp/taillamp systems recently, and I was utterly amazed. I never knew LED's could be so bright... however, and they aren't cheap.... yet.
*(Contrary to belief they DO produce a good amount of heat as well)
Anyway... till then... I'm still saving my change for HID's :D |
