Swapping Front Seats

Does anyone know how to remove the bottom portion of the front seats?
I have a 2001 MDX and the bottom portion of the Driver's side seat is starting to show its age. The bottom portion of the front passenger seat appears exactly the same, so I was hoping I could swap the two.
