Hi,

I have an 03 MDX with 114000 miles. Lately I've been noticing that every time when I start it up, at the end of the key crank, there's a stutter, hiccup-like kinda sound before it starts. It has never NOT start, just not as smooth as before. Would dirty fuel injectors be the cause, or spark plugs, or the starter itself?

Probably the starter. You said its rough starting? How about when it cranks over, is it still rough or is idle good?

It stutters, then it starts. After that, no problem, idles smooth.

Take it to Autozone, they'll be able to check the starter for free.
