When I need new tires I was thinking of getting some black rims and offroad tires. I have a visual idea in my head that it would look pretty cool. I'd assume it'd look cool on green MDXs too.

Does anyone have a picture of such a combo or anything similar? Or even 1st gen MDXs with larger tires.

PS - found this in google but it's way too small to tell (they may be dark grey in this pic):

Have you thought about how the ride will feel with offroad tires? Thats a rare combo to find.

I shouldn't have said offroad tires. I wasn't going to go with big knobby tires, just size up. I planned on sticking with 17s just going to 255/75s or something. Nothing radical, definitely not looking for some crazy offroad look.

I don't know why I said offroad, I meant a little bigger; that was a mistake.

You're looking for a good tire to go on Hill Country Drives, huh!? A good pair of Michelins will do you well. My OEM GY Integrity does well IMAO.

I have the Good Year Fortera Silent Armors now (OEM size). They're great tires. Extremely quiet, but I've read they're heavy. I have 6-7/32nds left so I got some time to plan my next setup.

Heh, I didnt think u really wanted some offroad tires. I dont think a larger tire on the stock 17 will be much of a difference. You might as well go plus 1, and get a 18 inch rim with a wider footprint. If not, a better tread design can definitely fulfill your needs.
