Hello. This is my first post. I've really enjoyed reading everyones posts. It has really helped a lot. Just put a deposit down on a Silver MDX base model 2 days ago. Went through about 30 dealers in the Pacific Northwest before I found Acura of Portland. Acura of Portland was the only dealer I could find that I didn't have to pay above MSRP and had the MDX I wanted arriving soon. The build date on my MDX is 1/15 and the dealer tells me it should be arriving in Portland around 2/15. From all the posts I've read here, I'm prepared for it to possibly take longer. This MDX was not a factory order, it was slated to arrive on their lot in February, so I hope I don't end up waiting 4 months like I've heard others talk about. So far the Acura of Portland dealership has been WONDERFUL. The internet sales rep for them (Sandy) has been very nice, and even sent us a surpise in the mail. Don't know what it is yet (hoping it's a die-cast MDX). I paid exactly MSRP and placed a $1,000 deposit with a credit card over the phone. I plan on ordering several accessories from Tim at Hondacuraworld. They told me at Acura of Portland that they have 4 more MDX's arriving in February that aren't spoken for. Here is a copy of the email she sent me about these MDX's
"This is Sandy from Acura of Portland and we have available that will be here next month or the first of Feb. a black/ebony non touring non. nav. and also a silver the same. We also have a touring silver and black ebony, black/saddle and a silver ebony.These are non navigation system."
The Silver Base was taken by myself. Sorry about the long post.
