Thanks for the complements. I bought the paint mouldings and the roof rack from hondaacuraworld.com. I bought the chrome side steps from ebay for $460 with shipping. the mouldings and roof rack accessores cost $400. I had the dealer install everything. I could have installed the accessories, but I didn't have the time and wanted everything done pronto. I had the dealership install everything for $500 (a bit high).
The front windows were tinted by a tint shop for $130.

| Nice accessories! I have the chrome steps and the roof rails as well. For my cross bars i'm using a yakima set up, easy to put on/take off. |

| If it were solely my vehicle, I would have the front/rear garnish or have the plastic painted to match. I would also upgrade all of the lights to HID. But my wife wants me to concentrate and pay it off. I will leave the MDX to her devices for a little while. |

I have no problem with people becoming more conscious about what type of vehicle they're driving and/or the impact it might *actually* be having on the environment...
but to worry about about a roof rack or side steps impeding upon the already dismal mileage figures of a $45K SUV is slightly comical, in my opinion. :rolleyes: |

Fab ...agree with you there if it's a quick turn around vehicle that's going to be sold to upgrade within a couple years of purchase ....but as in my case ..intending to keep the full 8 years (full b-to-b warranty) ...i rather put what i want on it to make me happy and to hell with resale value :p ...i'll take the entire value of the X as a loss 8 years from now (including access.) if it behaves itself and treats us good... (which from the looks of it won't be a problem) :) |
