Well, it got hot enough here in Calgary for us to need a/c - too bad it was blowing no cold air. Black interior + no a/c = not good. Just bought a 2004 MDX from Honda dealership about month ago - so far back weekly to get something fixed (although mostly due to some aftermarket devices that the prior owner had put in). Anyhow, back to the dealership to get this looked at - thankfully, it has been on the dealerships dime.
Question - In Full Auto mode for the Climate Control, I noticed that the Re-Circulation had activated. Is this supposed to happen?Reading the Owners Manual, they recommend that that Re-circulation is not to be used often - mostly only when dusty, etc. Nowhere did it indicate that it may come on when the a/c is activated.
I was looking through some of the forums and it would appear that some MDX owners wanted to have the recirculation activated when engaging the a/c - but their Full Auto mode would not do this automatically. I am wondering if this is something earlier models did not do.
Thanks for any insights. |

| That is normal for my 06 when in full automatic mode. It turns on re-circulate for a while and then turns it off, helps to get the car to the temperature you selected faster. |

+1, just about all cars do this. |
