anyone have experience with this type of GPS unit? I know that alot of people go for the name brand Garmin or magellan units but this looks like it would work just as good.

I've used Mio brand GPS units and they have worked well and this seems to have the same interface.

Interesting! Speed alarm setting is new to me. Wife's Magellan is almost ready for a replacement. Please update us with your review of this new gadget.
