Can someone please confirm on the image below what am I looking at? This connector (with red arrow pointing to it) seems to be missing a tube. Is there a vacuum tube missing? And what is this module to begin with?
The car is 06 MDX.
Any help would be highly appreciated!
Thank you! |

| Both my '03 MDX and '07 Ridgline have the same thingy. Subject has been brought up before. No hose goes there. It's just as it is. |

ROTORRAY - thank you very much! It just looked too clean - so I though I lost something :)
Now I am even more curious to know what it is! I tried to search this forum for this "thingy", but since I do not know what it is - I could not find anything.
Again - thank you very much! |

| It's a filter/breather assembly for the transmission. It allows ambient air to enter/exit transmission to equalize pressure. It is located high in the engine bay so that water will not get into tranny during high water ops. There is no hose attached to fitting. |
