I don't know anything about Fiddletown itself but the wine tour is nice in that area. My company hired a couple limos and we toured 4 wineries. It was a good time. We had lunch in the barrel room at Montevina. It was a great time.
Sorry to report that the roads are not that "twisty" into the Plymouth and Fiddletown area. Bottom line though, you will have fun. |

The drive from my garage to their charming "get away" cabin was 2.0 hours. Took back route thru delta over I-5 headed dead East over 99 then took numerous beautiful 2 lane roads to Iona and Youthville then to Fiddletown. You could have sneezed and missed downtown Fiddletown. Built in the mid 1800's. Gold rush country, Turkey country and certainly ZINFANDEL country.....Roads were well paved. Boudreau and Dixie were well traveled and loved running free on the 5 acres of land. We ate everything bad, but was good (country breakfast, grilled steaks and drank good wines). We stopped Saturday at the winery Charles Spinetta, there were two MDX's in the parking lot, one 1st gen and an o7 or 08 greenish Tech. The large group were traveling together...... Anyone here ???? Pictures later....
MDX was LOADED with 4 adults, lots of luggage, Large Ice chest full and 2 dogs. Guest rated it 1 out of 10, they both gave it an 11+:1: |
