Hello to all,
Last night I traded in my 1998 Acura Integra with 163K miles on it, for a 2004 MDX with 41K miles.
All of my family drives Honda's/Acura's with the exception of my mother, who currently cruises a Lexus RX...although she did have a TSX for awhile! The family line-up -
Wife - '99 Accord coupe
Dad - '04 TL (has previously owned a '92 Legend, '03 TL, and '98 Integra)
Sister - '06 Pilot
Sister - '03 Odyssey
Needless to say, I would be hard pressed to buy anything other than Honda products as they have never let me or my family down.
On to the specifics of the new bad boy:

I researched for a long time, and once I saw this model at $21,999 I was very interested. After test driving and discussing trade in value of my Integra (2K), the price was reduced to $19,999 over the weekend while I weighed my options. Glad I waited the weekend before buying it! Needless to say, I was quite thrilled with the end price.
Will be ordering BSM and either a cargo tray or liner soon. And will install my PA USA SPEC HON thing that I took out of my Integra this weekend (using the fabulous advice from this forum).
So far the only tough thing to get used to is the area my left foot resides in....definitely a bit different than my Integra. But holy mackeral is this thing 90% quieter than my Integra. Oh, and I did hear the gas sloshing around the tank this morning, but it didn't really bother me.
I'm sure I'll miss the mpg's of my old car, but oh well. Its not like I didn't know what I was buying! |
