I have been having what some have referred to as rumble strip symptoms when driving. The problem only occurs once every 50miles or so.
I checked the code reader and found codes for misfires on all cyclinders.
I realized that there could be many possible problems so I took it to the dealer. They told me the EGR was out of spec. and they replaced it.
On the way home the problem occurred again generating the same codes.
I am going to replace the plugs even though the likely hood of them generating a misfire on all cylinders is rare - what are eh chances that all plugs or coils are bad.
I am leaning towards clogged EGR ports or some air intake issue.
Can someone please refer me or give me some basic location / part identification informations as to what ports or valves I should clean?
I have read these forms for hours.
The problem lies when you try to search for EGR or other acronyms that are shorter than the 5 letter search requirement.
