I'm close to pulling trigger on an 08 MDX, saw this on the EDMUNDS forums, wanted to make sure it wasn't a chronic flaw. Anyone here have the same issues?

The noise is coming from your front lower control arms - Unfortunately it will get worse over time. There is no fix for it. I had the same problem and got rid of my 07 MDX for this and other reasons. I understand the 08's have the same problem.

They replaced the front suspension on mine and the noise stopped for 2 months but came back even worse. It gets to the point that the front end will make cracking noises every time you stop, accelerate or turn the steering wheel. It is also quite embarrassing when people comment and ask what the cracking noises are.
