Does the fender garnish only come in black color, as in painted in black? Or, if it's not painted, perhaps only primed and you gotta get it painted yourself?
Looking at acura.com, it says, "Black trim adds a visual accent to the fender wells." Does not give more info.
As well, does the trailer hitch package include additional cooling line or unit normally installed to account for extra load and heat your transmission will incur when towing?
I ask because I seem to recall about some additional cooling line or unit being installed on the previous models when installing the towing package.
Thanks for your time and courtesy. |

The wheelwell trim on teh 07-08 is black plastic. You don't want to paint it. It's basic function is to take rock hits and not show paint chips.
The 07-08 already have super cooling built it. The trailer hitch package does not add additional coolers. |

Ahhh, I see and that's why there's no mention of some additional cooling unit for the trailer package. And I can understand now why the wheelwell trims are not painted, but I think it'd look hideous on a white MDX though. This is going to be my wife's car, otherwise I'd have chosen the black one. Anyway, thanks for your quick reply! |
