HVAC fan motor accumulating insulation - Click HERE for Original Thread

Here's a weird one. About 2 months ago, I started getting an odd "vortex" sound coming from my HVAC fan motor. So, I removed the motor (minor pain in the ass, you have to contort yourself under the psgr. side, under the glovebox), and lo and behold, I found a piece of syrofoam in the fan.
Removed styrofoam.

3 weeks ago, similar sound.
Removed fan motor (a bit easier 2nd time around, it is best to remove the plastic "kick panel" that covers the psgr. side fuse box, makes it all the easier to get to the one impossible screw). What did I find this time? Some sort of sound deadening grey-cottony insulation. So I tried my best to reach around and through the ventilation system to clean out whatever else was there.

Needless to say, this is a bit odd, it is like any sort of insulation in the firewall is detaching due to the immense force of the blower motor ;-) . I have actually bagged up the last specimen for my service department for my next visit.
Anyone else seeing this one?
