Ordered bsm's for my '01 Nighthawk Black. The package arrived and was received by an employee of my co. As he had no idea of what was in the 2" cardboard shipping tube he received as ok and paid $55+ duty and gst (CDN) additional fees on receipt. On Sat I got the "X" all washed up and ready for the bsm's install.Much to my shagrin the tube was empty.A metal end plug was missing as well as the goods. Emailed Sport Wing and they phoned me back the next day. Asked a couple of questions and said they'd send out replacements asap. They even said if I had to pay the additional costs (duty/gst) again to let them know and they'd reimburse be for same.
Great service & great followup.....highly recommended.:) |

| If your moldings are as a good a quality as mine were you will be very pleased. The colore match was so good that my wife didn't even notice them until I pointed them out to her. (She's an elementary school teacher and usually doesn't miss anything!) |

I just got my BSM's (as per your info) yesterday and, guess what?- they were ALMOST missing too. The ends of the tube were only taped and when I tilted the tube the BSM's fell out.
I was sure they must have been damaged but, thankfully, they were unscathed. I just installed them this AM- very nice!
Thanks for the tip! |

HA! Thanks for your posts, guys! My tube arrived about a month ago also damaged, but it was taped up. It looked like one of those Xmas wrapping tubes that someone hit against someone's head.
But my bsm's were safely in there....application took about 30 minutes and they look great. And work great. Today I was in a parking lot, coming up to my MDX and noticed the ahole next to me with his door up against mine!! (there was NOONE around when I parked there....seems like our MDX always attracts a crowd).
Anyway, his door hit my sportwing bsm perfectly. Whew!
The SW bsm can't protect against ALL other doors (too many different heights, angles, etc) but it paid for itself today!! |

My package was OK. Installed in under one half hour and they look factory. Perfect color match.
Highly recommended.

Hello Greg,
I am looking into ordering parts from the states and ship them into Canada (Ontario). Would you mind tell me how the taxes and duties work? I know you don't have pst in Alberta, but how much ($ or %) did you pay in import duties? Did you pay any US state/sales sales? Was there any other fees charged?
Our loonie is so weak these days so I have be extra careful.
Thanks in advance. |
