Having read the several threads on commercial car wash nightmares (paint scratches, etc), I have not yet settled on a routine way for my wife to keep her black '08 looking good. (we're in a drought in Georgia, and cannot wash a car at home with our hose).
So, at the self-service car wash, I put a lot of effort into these 18" wheels with their complicated design. When the rinse was complete, it looked like I had hardly touched them. Back in my garage, spray cleaner and a cloth was very frustrating in the complex, multi-cutout design .... as I mainly seemed to just spread the brake dust smears around without running water to constantly rinse as I go.
Has anyone discovered a less labor intensive method of cleaning these wheels? Even the Porsche spoked wheels are a lot easier.

| I have had the same problem, and quite honestly, I have quit trying to keep the rims clean. After all, they just get covered in brake dust by the next day. |

Try Rejex. Just make sure you follow the directions and allow it to cure for 12 hours after application. |

| I support the ReJex too, a second coat after the first has had it's 12 hour cure will have you protected all summer. |
