I just had a DVD drop down installed in my 04 MDX touring with bose and Nav. I had to pick it up after hours and going back on Tue to be shown how everything works. I figured I would ask here as well while I wait just in case someone here knows how to use some features.
They installed Nav2TV - how do I get the DVD to play on the Nav screen??
The DVD plays fine and I can hear it through the headsets - how do I hear the sound through the car speakers?
I was playing with it last night for a while and couldn't figure it out.
Does anyone know?

If you're talking aftermarket, then it depends entirely on how the audio is wired up. Typically though, if the rear DVD player is hooked up via RCA to the stock audio, you would have to press AUX or CD (maybe this last button twice).
As for video, again it depends on how it was installed. You should have a toggle switch of some sort (hopefully stealth installed and that's why you can't find it). Look for a switch around or under the dash area, under the radio controls or even the armrest. |
