Greetings all,
I ordered the dash kit from woodtrim.com which is the Joshua Tree kit.
The problem I have is they did not send me any 3M adhesive promoter or anything else to do the install.
There shipping is kind of slow and was wondering where I could just purchase some of that stuff.
Tomorrow is one of the last warm days we will be seein here in NY and I wanted to install it then.

I also received my kit without the adhesive promoter. I contacted wooddashes.com and they sent me some for free. It is a little packet like a WetNap that has a sponge in it saturated with the stuff. You just rub it on the surface you want the piece to stick to and it makes it stick very tight.
Don't make the mistake I made. I tried to rub the sponge on the back of the wood piece...the sponge tried to adhere very firmly to the trim piece.
But, I understand you can also buy this stuff from Napa Auto Parts if you don't want to wait for it to come to you in the mail. |
