Would like to see if anyone came across this problem.
When I turn my steering wheel during low speed or at a stand still, I hear this fairly loud "click/rattle" sound, almost like there's something loose or sand in the steering column.
The sound is similar to when you have your turn signal on but not quite.
The sound pretty much goes away during highway speed.
Anyone know what this could be? |

Wild guess is that it's the cable pulley. Wires from the switches on the wheel get wrapped and unwrapped around the pulley as the steering wheel turns.
Could be lots of things, though. That's what warranties are all about. |

| It could be anything. I say get it checked out before it gets worse. |

I'm out of warranty (75K miles on the odo), hence the question.
I may just disassemble the steering cloumn to see what's inside but I wanted input before I take my time to do such. |
