I'm considering upgrading my 2005 MDX to a 2008 model. I've spent time on the Acura website configuring and researching a new MDX, but it's unclear how the exterior temp is displayed.
It appears to be one of the multi-information display options, of which you must cycle through and choose one of several display options. The display option that appears to contain the outside temp display is the odometer + outside temp value. Can anyone validate:
1. Does the outside temp displays within any other displays in the multi-information display?
2. Does the outside temp display constantly on this screen or does the multi-information display change to a different display once you've exited and returned to the MDX or have received or made a phone call via a linked (bluetooth) phone?
3. Does the outside temp display anywhere else in the vehicle's cockpit?
I'm most interested in constantly viewing my linked (via bluetooth) phone information coupled with the outside temp setting. If this is possible, I don''t want to reset the multi-information display every time I exit and re-enter the MDX.
Additionally, can anyone validate if you the center console display displays HandsFreeLink information to allow you to see incoming call information or to view and cycle through your phone book to make calls?
Thanks in advance for your answers. |

If you leave it on a certain setting (i.e. the exterior temperature) it will stay on that when you come and go.
When you get a call, I believe it goes away until you hang up. Your signal strength for your phone shows on the center console as well, but the temp only shows in the MID.
I hope that helps
Good luck |

| This is the only display location for the temperature. No where else. |
