My Outside temperature display is CONSTANTLY reading between 82 - 88 degrees. Never rises above 88. It's been doing this for several months. Right now here in Valencia, CA it’s been rather HOT. Daytime temps are 100 – 107 and display reads only 88 degrees…………
I inspected the sensor. Looks clean, connection is solid and wiring intact.
SPECIFIC QUESTION:
Has anyone replaced the outside Temperature sensor that’s located behind the front bumper because of inaccurate temp reading’s?????
If so, did that solve your problem? How much did the sensor cost you?
I just don’t want to waste money on new sensor if it won’t fix the problem.
Thank you in advance……….

A new sensor will fix the problem if the old sensor is the problem. If it is not the old sensor then it will not fix the problem to put on a new sensor.
The problem could also be in the computer. You will just have to have someone troubleshoot.
I would guess that the sensor is the most likely part to fail.
