Hello,
I keep getting (at random) an error code on my (Bose) head unit, that says "E-20". I also occasionally get the "CODE" to come up when I start up the vehicle, as if the battery was disconnected. Once the radio code is entered, the unit operates as normal for a random time (a few days to several months).
The battery is relatively new at about ~1 year old. I've checked for bad fuses and everything appears normal.
The only thing I have done to the system is replace the factory speakers in the doors with some Pioneers. The impedance does differ, but I thought that would really only affect the peak loudness (as per the thread on this forum).
Does anyone have any idea what the E-20 code means, and why my head unit will occasionally reset?
