I have the cargo cover rear right side tongue that goes into the side slot broken. It just snapped into 2 pieces at the weakest point near its base. I wonder what kind of flimsy design Acura produced!.
I tried to glue it back using a high strength resin. after the resin dried, it felt solid. However, after the first use, it just snapped again!!
Any ideas how to fix it? or how to get it replaced by Acura?

Likely you will need to buy a replacement. There are a couple of Acura dealers with EBay on-line stores. I got mine for about $125 shipped to my home in Canada...should be less in the US. Only took about 3 days. The dealer here in Victoria wanted $350 for the same thing.
I picked up a pair of like new keyless entry remotes from EBay shipped for under $50. The dealer up here wanted $332 each for the same thing new. I don't imagine he sells many. |
