DAY 1
1. Wash with dawn ultra and used the 2 bucket method (too lazy to dry)
2. Clay bar using a mixture of water and Zaino Z-7 car wash as a lubricate.
3. Wash with Z-7 using 2 bucket method and dried using 100% cotton towels.
4. Covered that car in Z-5 polish and ZFX flash cure using front to back stokes on the hood and roof, and vertical strokes on the side panels. Tried to put it on thin, but I am sure I used too much.
5. After it had dried, removed using 100% cotton towels going against the direction the polish was put on.
6. Put a coat of z-6 gloss enhancer down.
Done for the day, but happy with the results

Day 2
Repeated steps 3 thru 6.

Thoughts
I was a little intimidated about dragging the clay around my car, but as long as it was kept lubed it seemed just fine. It is slippery, but I didn’t drop it until I was finished with it and was attempting to put it away. Never turn your back on that clay, or it will drop!
Not sure if the Z-6 gloss enhancer really added to the thing or not, but it did make me go over the entire car and if I had missed removing any Z-5 it did make me see it and get it up.
Between the clay process and the Zaino polish the car is quite slick and seems to repel dust. It of course got rained on and beaded up nicely. Overall I was quite pleased with the results and found the product very easy to apply and fairly easy to remove. The only drawback is I did have some minor streaking, but you really had to look to see it. If you been thinking on trying it you should, it really isn’t that difficult of a process.

That's looking good, but next time use Microfiber towels and not the cotton ones, Microfibers won't mar the suface, cotton does that.

I was going to until I saw the below on the Zaino web site, have you had problems with cotton towels?

" Are Micro-Fiber products safe to use?

A: Zaino has been testing various Micro-Fiber products. Unfortunately, the jury is still out on them. Some of them are excellent and do not scratch. Others are terrible and definitely scratch. The quality control of these products from overseas, especially Korea, is not consistent, so you never know if they will be the same scratch-free quality. Even when using the same brand, we found the quality to be inconsistent. For now, we do not recommend using them. However, lab testing is ongoing, and we will post an update when we have more conclusive results.

NOTE: If you are already using microfiber towels, look carefully at your paint finish under flourescent light when you are using your towels. If you are not getting any swirls or fine scratches from the microfiber towels, then you are okay and can continue to use them. Remember it's better to be safe than swirly."

Use cotton towels if you're a newbie whose knowledge of detailing is limited to what is printed on the Zaino web site, and think that Zaino's process is somehow unique.

Use microfiber towels if you're an experienced detailer who knows Zaino's polishes are really sealants, and that the Zaino process is actually a subset of what you've been doing for years.

I don't know a single experienced detailer who uses cotton towels to buff off Zaino. Personally, I use the dark blue Cobra microfiber polishing towels to buff off all sealants. I use cotton towels for dirty jobs, like door jambs/frames, and applying solvent cleaners like bug/tar removers so I don't contaminate my microfiber.

I'll throw my vote in for using only micro-fiber towels and not the cotton ones. The micro-fiber towels will treat your car's finish much better.
