Hey guys, I have 2008 MDX and last few days my climate control started to do silly things: if car parked outside in hot weather, after I start the engine and turn the A/C on, the driver's side blows warm air and the passenger side is blowing the cold one. It lasts untill I get home. If I get in the car in the morning and it's parked in the garage - the A/C working fine. I bought my MDX in the US and brought it to Canada, so I do not have any warranty on it. The local dealer is an ugly dude and trying to rip me off. Any ideas on what it might be?
Any help would be greatly appretiated. |

| I had similar thing happened to me. My car driver side stopped working (luke warm air, no AC), both front and back regardless weather. Went to dealer, and they found out was a small leak. They said right side would not last long either if there is no repair. |

| Just got a word from the service dept. and they are sayin that there is an issue with the heater control box. Aparently it does not open/close some kind of the arm that direct the air. Did anyone else had a problem with this box? |

| What a rip-off!!! The local dealer charges $250.00 canadian for the heater box and the same part in US is $143.00 US. How can they do it without pissing people off? How can they sleep at night? That's why so many people went to the US to buy their cars! :3: :3: |
