Hey guys.
I just got a 2004 mdx. It had a few little problems but i got a good deal on it.
Currently the one i am down too, is i just found out my back passenger door dosn't lock or unlock with the power locks, remote or button.
I was reading the post on the remote lock and not beeping, and noticed mine wasn't beeping either, then i noticed the back passenger door was still unlocked, after manually locking it my remote now beeps when i lock, i guess it detects all are locked now, so i fixed or figured out the no beep, but don't have a auto locking back passenger door.
Just seeing if this is common and where to start, before i pull off the door trim and purchase a new acutator, is their a connector or something that could be loose? I wouldn't think each door would be sepratly fused. Would the next step be taking off the door panel and seeing what isn't clicking?
Also some parts sites i found front Left and right acutators, but nothing said rear doors or back doors. |

Hi djb703,
Coincidentally, I just noticed the exact same issue on my 2005 mdx and came to the board to see if anyone had posted this problem.
I'll be looking for some answers and will share if I find anything. In the meantime if anyone can help, that would be great.
Let me know if you find anything or if changing the actuator solves the problem (and step-by-step instructions if it does!).
Thanks. |

Well it was the actuator that was the problem on mine.
I didn't have to replace it though so i can't give instructions.
The used car lot i bought it off of fixed it for free, since i had just bought it a few days ago, and it slipped through them that the lock didn't work.
But they said they had to order a new actuator so that is what it was for me. |
