| Hello folks, first post here. Recently bought a 2001 MDX w/ nav and it still has the first nav cd in it. I am having a hard time justifying 200 bucks for the newest maps. I know burned copies work. So my question to you folks is if there is anyone willing to sell/give me a copy or sell me their old black navi disc. Thanks in advance for your help! |

Does you MDX uses DVD navi or CD-ROM navi?? I almost sure that all 2001 Acura uses DVD navi. 1999 and 2000 TL, as I remember correctly use CD-ROM navi. If yours uses CD-ROM, you need to specify which region you live in because when Acura ships their new cars to those dealer at that time, CD-ROM navi only covered that region (example: NE region, SW region, etc.) Check with the dealer, I know this much info when I got my 2001 TL with DVD-ROM navi and that what I was told by my saleperson. |

| It uses DVD and I am in the pacific north west. Eastern washington. And thank you for the heads up! |

Correct MDX use DVDs just a difference of 04 and up use dual layer.

Sorry I haven't gotten back. My daughter broke her arm and we been visiting Immediate Care and her Pediatrician. |
