Gents,
Got my first $50 red light camera ticket in the mail today. This got me thinking of the sprays and covers that are available. I did some research and found that the sprays don't work to well but the covers do. Especially the one made by Photoblocker.
Found this site:

Can anyone share your experience if you've used these products? Also does anyone know if they are legal in New York? Thanks! |

Mythbusters did a segment on this. Nothing worked including driving by the camera at a very high rate of speed.
The exit I get off evey day for work is routinely monitored for people running the light (very easy pickings for them). I have learned (no tickets yet.....) to brake hard and stop on yellow for this particar intersection.
Best advise - stop on yellow. |

| I never used any. But from what I heard, they dont work. $50 is a small price to pay for breaking the law. :p |

Guess I would not give anybody that information even if I had it!!!
Why people like to break the law and endanger others is beyond me.

| G, I don't willingly break the law, but many of us have passed an intersection with the light going from yellow to red. |

Are you saying that you did not willingly go through that intersection? Who made you go through? If the light turns to red while you are going through the intersection then you have broken the law. In other words if you can see it turn to red it is YOUR fault.

That is funny. How do you get these gadgets to automatically deploy when you are getting ready to run a light?
