Hey guys,

Just took delivery of a CPO 04 MDX touring w/NAV from a dealership in DFW. It is BHP/saddle and came with OEM nerf bars and rear spoiler. Car looks like it was taken care of by the previous owner. The only thing I could find was a small pea-sized dent in the front bumper...not noticeable. However, the owner must have had a dog as the rear cargo area is full of hair. Been vacuuming and using masking tape and I think I got most of it out!

Now it's time to get some accessories. I was thinking of adding a rear cargo cover, cargo tray, and all season floor mats. I was checking online and thick I will go with Tim.

But did Acura not make all season mats in the caramel color for the 04? It looks like I can only get black for the 04 whereas 05-06 have both color options. Would black look okay with a saddle interior? Any thoughts?

Congrats on the new ride and :welcome:

I think black would be a nice offset. (Not my picture.)

Thanks for the warm welcomes! I'm looking forward to learn more about the MDX from you guys as well as contributing to this great site.

And that pic is great midnight...I'm starting to feel it. I think I'll go ahead and order the black ones.

I have the black ones in my tan interior car. Looks fine. If I were to do it again, I'd look at the all-weather mat options on mats.com. The Acura ones are fine, but don't hold much water. Especially true if you get in with lots of snow/mud on your boots and it melts. I'm pretty good about knocking the snow off my boots before I get in so its not been a problem, but like I said. If I had it to do again, I'd probably choose something different, especially for the front.

Their "Floor Liner" model wasn't available when I bought my car, but if something happened to my current mats, I'd look at that. They have it in tan as well as black. Not sure which would look better. They also have a good looking cargo liner. It has a low lip on the rear, unlike the acura model. The acura one tends to get folded over and if the liner slides back can get in the way of closing the gate (doesn't happen often). I've been very happy with stuff I've bought from weathertech before.

Unless you keep tempting looking stuff in the back all the time, I'm not sure I'd recommend the cargo cover. It works, but I had one and rarely used it. I eventually sold it to another acuramdx.org member a few years ago because I'd taken it out of the car and it was just collecting dust in the garage.
