Alright... I, Gene from Brooklyn NY, better known as "genemish" finally got my build date for my 2002 SI/EB Touring+Navi..
It is Nov11-15th.. So looks like my new baby will be joining us hopefully in time for Thanksgiving..
I have decided to go with the Running boards.. I was heavily inclined towards Manik steps.. but I think the running boards will be better since the wife is only a few months away and we'll need to do a lot of climbing in and out of the car.. Also, I've seen a lot of "runners" here in Brooklyn - the car looks very sharp.. |

Congratulations, on both the MDX build date, as well as the impending birth.
For what it's worth, your family should be okay climbing in with the running boards or side steps -- or even without either -- as the MDX isn't excessively high. We have running boards and find that unless you learn to use them, they can actually be a hinderance in that they're like a "half step too much." Nevertheless, we think they look good and have learned to climb in with them. |
