So I'm debating on selling my 02 Pathy. Since aquiring the X, it has been relegated to fishing/camping/dog/trail duties. And because it's officially the spare vehicle, I've been less picky about where she gets driven... and consequently have been having a blast and intend to expand y offroad adventures.
However, while a descent 4wd SUV, the Pathy has some limitations on her offroading potential. So I'm considering selling her in exchange for a Jeep. And this is where my expertise ends... I have no idea what years/trim packages are desirable. I know Rubicon is cool, but that's about it. Anyone know what to look for and what to avoid (besides the common sense stuff)?
I've also considered an old (i.e. late 70's) FJ, but while Toyota is a grand company, I think a modern Wrangler would offer more reliability, comfort, and safety. |
