I got 4 Bridgetone all season tires with my new 2008 MDX. Ay idea how mediore, average or good those tires are?? How do those tires rate compare to Michelin, Goodyear and other brand names?? Thanks for any input.

I have the same tires and from the looks of it, they will last a long time. This means that they have a hard compound and won't provide great winter traction or great dry pavement adhesion. I plan on getting dedicated winter tires and only running the Bridgestones w/o snow on the ground.

Mine came with Micheline, good for summer driving, fall and spring. Last November I got a set of 4 Toyo winter studless tires- Go-2 Observer, I belive. What a difference they made in the ice and snow!!! Got a good deal from Car Modifier in Ottawa. NOBODY in Edmonton could offer me even a remotely close the price I paid.

Thanks for all your input, especially from those great neighbours Edmontonians !!!!!
What I would really like to know is if anybody has actually experienced riding on these Bridgestones Dueler H/L 400 all-seasoned tires on the white stuff, say 3-4 inches deep of snow and how those tires handled. Do they provide enough traction or the MDX would skid and go sideways, like in an uncontrolled fashion. I understand these tires are not meant for extreme winter driving, but on a light snowfall, just wonder how they cope.
Thanks again for any feedback anybody would provide. |

As I said, I was impressed with the winter tires. I even tried to spin the vehicle on a isy/ snowy road - no luck! Did it easily on all season tires
