Recently purchased a CPO 05 MDX. Love it. But it appears one interior piece is missing--an interior hatch lever. There is a circular spot and a place for it. Should there be one, or is this opening for something else the dealer forgot to check?

| Don't know why one is needed? If the vehicle is unlocked it opens easily from the outside latch. |

Just where is it you think this hatch lever should be mounted?
I have never seen/heard of an interior tailgate/rear hatch release on the MD of that year group.

| I think I know what your are talking about. Basically its just an access port to the rear locking mechanism. There should be a cap there. |

But the emergency hatch release cover is rectangular, is it not? |
