I owned a 2005 MDX and just bought a 2008 Tech. There is a consistent vibration at highway speeds. Any ideas as I only have 200 miles on it and its been there since I picked it up 2 weeks ago.

Thanks in advance!

Could be the tires are not balanced correctly. I would take it back to the dealer and have them drive with you so they agree it's a problem. Best bet might be to do a road force balance. BTW, Congrats and welcome to the family!!!!!! :7:

Congrats! Definitely take it back to the dealer.

I am also experiencing the same vibration problem in my new '08 MDX at speeds over 60 mph. It's currently at the dealership for the 6th time for the same issue, which they've been unable to solve. The tires have been replaced and road force balanced several times, none of which have gotten rid of the vibration. Is there anyone else who's had this problem and actually had it fixed? It's making me crazy that they can't figure it out!!!

ARIZONA - Where did you purchase your car and where are you servicing it?

Do you work at one of the local dealerships? Is this an issue you're familiar with?
I just picked it up yesterday and the vibration still remains, so I'm heading back today. The road force balance is 6/8 in the front and 10/14 in the rear, which they say should be more than good enough for me to not feel any vibration. I'm being told that my suspension is probably just tighter than most and that it needs to "break in" over another 5000 miles or so! It just seems a little odd to me that all of the other MDXs I've had to drive as loaners (about 4 of them) all with similar miles don't vibrate like mine does. And after spending this much on a new car, I expect to not have my hands steadily shaking every day!

Where did you take it to be serviced?

I scheduled a svc appt for today and they have the car now. The RDX that they gave me has less vibration and I noticed that it is worse at highway speeds.

Stay tuned as I'll find out what they say. Thanks.

My idea would be to get the vehicle into the dealer and get it repaired.
