The Mistress X was violated this w/e. Thank God my wife, son and friend were away at the playground as a thug smashed the window and grabbed her purse. The X is currently a mess with broken glass everwhere but no harm to what is really important.
With such a top notch suv, please do take the safety measures, the stupid useless thugs have regonized us.
Are any members fimiliar with Libertyville Auto Body (some association with Libertyville Acura) and there work? I am assuming based on my visit and there tie with Acura of Libertyville that the work will be top notch along with the clean up of glass.

Sorry to hear about your loss. :( That's a terrible feeling. Hopefully she didn't have a spare house key tucked in her wallet. Might want to check the trash receptacles and open fields around the park area. Most thieves just take the wallet or money out of the wallet and trash the rest vs. the risk of being caught with the goods.
I hope you have a cargo cover! My cover is pulled across all the time and I've become accustomed to hunching over and grabbing stuff from underneath. My cover needs a dome light! :) Anyway, I've actually come out and noticed handprints on my glass where it appeared someone was looking inside. Of course they may have just been curious folks..but you never know. It's pretty sad. Good luck on your repair and re-organizing your ID...etc. |
