Just purchased an '05 mdx last weekend. So far i'm extremly happy with it (the little bit that I get to drive it because it is the wifes car). Its Sage Brush Pearl with gray interior. I'll get pics posted when i get a chance.

The only complaint i have are with the dealersip i purchased it from. The finance guy was a total jerk when i told him i didn't want the extended warranty. I will be having a conversation with the GM once i get all of my paper work.

Any one have a fix for a rear wiper blade that droops? My wife used it today for the first time and said it was drooping and didn't go all the way across.

You may just have to tighten the bolt that secures the wiper arm. IIRC, you have to remove the cover first.

Thanks for the info. I'll look at it when i get home. I hate taking something like that into the dealer. Just a complete waste of time.

I too just purchased an '05 MDX with Nav and RES. It had 57k miles on it so I did opt for the extended warranty more for the electronics then anything else. Wasn't the best buying expierence in the world because we did get into it about the warranty-they originally told me it covered me from the current mileage + 100k miles but when i read the contract it was from 0 to 100k so I really only get 40k more. The car has also had 2 issues right when I took it off the lot-The RES stopped working and the rear brakes had an issue but they are replacing the RES DVD player and giving me new pads and rotors for free but still a little scary because this was supposed to ceritfied pre-owned and passed thier inspection. Love the vehicle though and hope the worst is past me:)

I have been really happy with my purchase. I fixed the rear wiper blade last night. The nut just needed tightened.

For the warranty i didn't think it was worth it for $1000 for an extra 35,000 mile coverage. I have been driving a Honda/Acura product for the last 13 years with 0 problems other than normal wear and tear stuff needing replaced. I just didn't like the Finance guys attitude when i told him i wasn't interested. He treated me like i was an idiot for not taking the warranty. I will be having a conversation with his manager once i get all of my paper work for registering my vehicle (purchased it out of state). My dad told me things havent' changed in the 21 years it's been since he purchased his first Acura.
