Tpms? - Click HERE for Original Thread

I fully admit this is probably a silly question, but I just wanted to be sure and figured I would ask the experts.

I recently bought an off-lease 05 MDX and was wondering how I can be sure that the 4 TPMS sensors were not excluded from my vehicle. From what I understand, the TPMS guage light would be on if they were missing from the tire/valve stem.

Is my logic correct or is there any other quick way to be sure I have all 4?

Thanks so much!

When you start the car, on the instrumental panel you will see the image of the truck with 4 circles(these are the wheels). Then after it does the check, those 4 lights will go out. If you want to test one... deflate one of your tires. :p

No need to deflate any tires if you want to validate if you have the sensors or not. I had the same issue, the sensors were not on my 04 when I bought it, as a result, a "TPMS" yellow light indicator displayed on the instrument panel. The dealer installed the sensors and the "TPMS" warning light disappeared.
