Anyone install HIDs in both headlamp and foglights using same Kelvin and notice a distinct color difference?
I installed 6000K in headlamps and foglights because I wanted the same color. The headlamps looks great whereas the foglights look blue.
The manufacturer said differences in the materials used in the housing maybe causing this. I have '01-'03 reflectors. I also heard as the bulbs get older they get more blue colored. (Maybe the installer put in old bulbs).
What would you recommend to offset this? Iwas thinking 4300K or 5000K for the foglights. If I can't get an identical match I just go with 3000K.

| 3000K are more functional for the fogs anyway. Are these chinese bulbs? I don't think the quality control is there to give a consistent product. If you buy a 4300K or 5000K bulb you will probably get similar uneven results. |
