was just wondering, i had a scion tc before i got the mdx 3-4 days ago...and the way it was set up, one click of the knob that turns headlights on, so on 1 click which is parking lights and also turned on my fogs, so i was basically driving with parking and fog lights only, no headlights, which is what i want to do on the mdx, is there anyway i can drive with fogs and parking lights on instead of fogs and headlights, because i want to put blue leds in the parking lights in the headlights, and than drive with my fogs, it would look hot, but i dont know how its done :( can anyone help me out please :(

You will need to wire a switch to turn the fogs on seperately, you cannot have them on without having the headlights on. Also, not to be rude, but how old are you? It sounds to me like you are "ricing" out a perfectly good MDX, not to mention in most states if you put blue lights anywhere on your car it is illegal.

What does it matter how old am I, if I wanted to rice something out, id get a piece of sh!t civic! imp 21 years old, I bought the car flat out cash that I worked for, so trust me, my age should be the last thing anyone should be worried about, I like blue led's in my headlights, and I didn’t ask a question to get shot down with a stupid remark. If I really cared about if blue leds are illegal I wouldn’t be asking about it!

I'll give you a fair warning, a light box controls the MDX's lights and a short arc/short in the box could end up costing you over 600 dollars to fix, be careful... |

Do you want a cookie? I could stand here all day and have a pissing contest with you, but I'm not going to. I'm 23 and paid cash for mine too, whoop-di-doo! Conceited much? Seriously, grow up.
Just because you may like blue led's in your lights doesn't make it LEGAL. Stop and think for a minute before you open your mouth, because all I am trying to do is save you the time that you are going to waste on this and the hassle you are going to get from law enforcement.

I guess I am showing my age too, I have never heard the term "ricing".

Not necesary on MDX. The DRL stay on when you only turn the parking lights on. Excellent feature that I use all of the time at dusk & dawn. Has the identical visual effect of fogs plus parking lights. Just change the bulbs in the DRL if you want. No need for hacked switches. If anyone knows a hack to turn on DRL + fogs + headlights at the same time then that might be worth it.

fogs + drl + parking lights ... no headlights, for headlights to go on , than click the switch one more time on the stearwheel, but i just want only parking lights and fogs+drl or just fogs

Age does not matter in red neck country and some other not to be mentioned areas. They just like to have their cars look "different."
