"The 2002 MDX continues where the revolutionary 2001 MDX left off, bringing car-like luxury and handling together with SUV capacity and all-weather mobility. For 2002, the MDX features the same comfort and exhilaration, with an even quieter ride."
An even quieter ride...huh, shouldn't us 2001 owners get some sort of fix? |

i naively asked this question before, but the hard truth is that the car industry doesn't upgrade car models continously (most of the time doesn't even inform you about problems - only give TSBs to service centers in case you complain). personally i think that you buy such a big ticket item given that they have a + $10,000 profit margin/vechicle could provide better service as well as retroactive fixes. Unfortunately this industry doesn't work that way.
If you want a "quiet" MDX - buy a new one... |

FYI...
ALL Acura models are quieter for 2002... they all got thicker window glass. |

| Every year Acura works at finding ways to make their models quieter. Most manufacturers do. |
