Has anyone investigated using hydrogen/water addition on a MDX?
I am interested in getting better gas mileage. www.gas4free.com I have a 2001 Mdx.

Please do yourself a favor and forget it!

Please don't fall for this. I assumed you've worked hard for your money. To have it stolen from you this easily would be a crime.

I would have called spam on this, but the poster registered in 2004.

Yes, stay away. Far far away.

I have to admit that I am quite the skeptic. However, I first saw something about this last month in an engineering magazine.

Those of us in Atlanta are having difficulty finding ANY gas, and premium will not be available for another week or so (I am using regular plus an octane booster). Between the high cost of gas and the frenzy at the pump created by the local news media, I admit that I am seriously considering this as a means of doubling my gas mileage. I've had enough of this foolishness, but I do not want to downgrade from my MDX.

Check out this television news story of a gentleman who is getting 40 MPG from a Chevy Avalanche full size pickup:

If someone has actual, practical knowledge of these systems, I would appreciate your input. I understand the emotional reaction to anything that reeks of snake oil, but please limit replies to actual experience with these fuel systems.

Thanks!

IIRC, they used to have a similar systen in the '70s that would dribble washer solvent into the carburetor. You leaned out the carb, and the washer solvent was supposed to take the place of the fuel.

I guess it worked, provided that washer solvent at the time is cheaper than gas :p

All that accomplished was washing the lubricant of critical parts and causing engine failure faster than normal.
