| I cannot seem to find my answer. Do the 04 models have genuine HID headlights? Or is there some sort of really easy conversion that has to be done? On my old car it was well over a 600 dollar upgrade (a 92 civic). Thanks for the help guys...also, what sort of IPOD solutions are there for the stock Bose system with DVD? |

| No HIDs until 2007. You can slap a kit in there if you want. The bulb size is H11. |

| what all is necessary to purchase for the exchange? A friend told me that if its not done right, the extra power from the HID's could burn through my wires...I don't know if this is true, but I just want to make sure before I get something that wont work. |

If you get a bad kit it might. But your friend is wrong. Some have seperate relays some have it combined with the ballast.
But if you get a kit it should include all. |

| 04-06 are projectors with plain bulbs. HID wasnt an option. Available HID kits should all be plug and play. You just have to worry about which kit and the color temp of the light. |

| so after more research, color temp. just decides what color the light is right? I know that I need an H11 size bulb/kit I just would like to confirm this. Also, people here used to say that xenon depot were the best because they used phillips. Are they still the best? Im thinking 4300k, but I also like 6000k. |
