My 2003 MDX (pre-owned) has sticker under the hood
"Warning: Vehicle Equipped with a DEI remote start System"
But my key less entry transmitter unit has no start button on it.
When I purchased from the dealer, he showed me the work done on the car. I noticed "Removed after market alarm system as it was interfering with proper functioning of driver side window"
Is the sticker from the system that the dealer removed? I sure would love a remote start. How do I know if my car has it or not?

DEI is an aftermarket alarm/remote start company that makes brands such as Viper, Clifford, and Python. The MDX does not come with remote start from the factory. It sounds like you may have had a combined alarm/remote start system installed that the dealer removed. It would have had it's own key fob with the alarm/start functions on it. |

| Thats what I thought. The work sheet clearly mentioned that the after market alarm was interfering with the proper function of door and they had to remove it. :( |

| JL_SS said it best. DEI is a really good brand if you do decide to go with one. |
