A friend and myself were planning to replace the factory cd changer with the alpine. He said it looked like we'd have the take the front seat out to do it. Is this correct? It's a 2004.
Also, am I correct in assuming that the cable that connects to the head unit runs under the center console? I just want to get an idea of how much and how long before jumping into it.

Ok...
So, I wasn't aware that I needed the blitzsafe adapter. I saw it mentioned, a lot, but they were for mp3 player installs. I didn't realize that it was needed to adapt bus to m-bus.
I ordered the Blitzsafe HON/ALP DMX V.1D (link) . I'll have to wait until the blitz arrives to verify installation.
