I have an 06 with the standard premium package.
For years, I've had painted and clearcoated wheels. These are my first set of aluminum rims. (Attached is a photo of my wheel style.)
My question is, for my old wheels, I used to clean them and apply a coat of car wax (usually Meguiar's NXT) to protect them.
Meguiar's says these wheels have a factory coating so I can treat them the same as my old wheels.
What do you guys think?
Do you use a polish or wax after cleaning? If so, what works for you? |

| just treat them like clearcoat paint (wash and wax them). I use Z6 and or CS by Zaino:4: |

Easiest nowadays is to use a WOWA sealant spray, like Zaino CS or Optimum OptiSeal.
I still have some DP Wheel Wax and microfiber gloves in my kit, but I'd have to really have a lot of time on my hands to use it instead of a WOWA sealant. |

| Thanks for the replies, everyone. Much appreciated. Going into winter I wanted to make sure I had a strategy for wheel maintenance. |
