I have a 2004 Acura MDX with 53,000 miles. Last week, the power steering pump starting making a noise, like metal to metal contact. The best way I can describe it is like two bearings contacting each other. The power steering works fine as far as I can tell.
Over the weekend, I went ahead and flushed the entire system. The old fluid was dirty and had a brownish look to it. The noise came back; I am thinking of taking the car to the dealer and see what they say. I am over the warranty 3,000 miles but it is still under the 4 year mark. Any suggestions or experiences? Thanks again. |

| Its possible to ask the dealership or Acura customer service to make an exception. Sometimes resulting in free repair or discounted pricing. But you never know what they will do. |
