OEM vs aftermarket Trailer Hitch question

Does anybody know why OEM hitch requires bumper trim kit where aftermarket doesn't? Also rear lower garnish cannot be installed with OEM.
Is aftermarket one positioned lower then OEM or it's just a design thing?
I am looking into installing Valley - trailer hitch and I don't know if I am doing right thing.
