Hello,
I recently picked up an 08 MDX w/ tech package and power lift gate.
I ordered a cargo cover for it. It had to option of an MDX with entertainment package (stated is must have RES AND power lift gate) or w/o the entertainment package. Since I only had the power lift gate, I ordered the one w/o the entertainment pacckage.
I received it, and it didn't fit. I was wondering if anyone knows if the panels in the rear are different for the MDX's w/ the liftgate and w/o the lift gate. It almost seems as if the panels have to come out further to accomodate the accuators used for the hatch. I haven't had a chance to swing by the dealership to check it out.
Anyone know? Thanks! |

Yes, they are different. They have a cargo cover for both MDX's; one with the power tailgate, and one for the one without the power tailgate.
When the cargo covers came out, the power tailgate was only offered on the entertainment packages. Mid-2008 came around and the started offering it on other models as well. |

| Thanks. I wasn't sure how much the RES had an impact on the cargo cover vs. the power lift gate. Maybe all MDX's with the entertainment package all come w/ the power lift gate. I'll have to let the site I ordered it from know. Thanks again. |

Power liftgate started as a standard in 2008. If you ordered it from a online site other than Tim at hondacuraworld.com they may have sent you a 2007 from stock. |
